It's been a while since I posted the next year group of my extra stuff from the hoard. Frankly, it's because they haven't really garnered a lot of responses. I've had one customer who got a significant chunk of cardboard so far (and that was twice). I did pull a decent stack from the whole thing for a team collector too. But overall, it seems the reality that most collectors are after current shiny rookies and nobody wants star cards is turning out to be true. Given the rather limited audience, I'm not entirely discouraged. Yet.

You certainly have some great stuff listed there. Greats of the Game is a wonderful set. I'd bite, but I really don't need another set to build at the moment. I hope the interest picks up!
ReplyDeleteI just don't have a lot of interest in sets from this period. But I'm always interested in the Dodgers. The problem is having the time to come up with a list of wants to give you.
ReplyDeleteIf you have any of the following I'd love to work something out: 2006 Fleer Greats of the Game:
ReplyDeleteNickname Greats: AG, AT, BF, BH, BL, CF, DD, GS, KH, LA, LP, MF, MH, MR, MW, MZ, RC, RG
Also any Barry Larkins from those sets, 2005, 2006 are both kind of "dead years" for my Larkin collection.
DeleteDang. Lots of set fillers here. Wasn't collecting during this time period, so I wasn't into many of these sets except 2005 Heritage. But that's now complete. Whatever you can't trade to other collectors, you should list on sportlots. This could help add a few dollars into your hobby budget.
ReplyDeleteEmailed you earlier. Meant to return for a comment. This has been a fun reveal. Thanks for taking time to share the Hoard.
