Mislabeled Or Masterful Marketing?

Seen in a local used bookstore in late November or so...

As most of us collectors would, I was drawn to the bobbleheads and autographed books in this section.  I come in to the store a lot, so I hadn't really seen this part before.  They must have just moved this stuff here.  Which is evidenced by the tag on the shelf.

No correction necessary, really.  Don't you agree?

  1. Not sure what you're talking about. Baseball is my religion :)

  2. To add the famous phrase "..... complex as the American spirit it symbolizes. It's a sport, business-and sometimes even a religion....." those great words were first written in 1955 in "The Sporting News" penned by a Hall of Famer from Georgia who definition of the game of baseball clearly the best way to summarize it best. I am talking
about the legendary voice of the Atlanta Crackers minor league team, Major League teams the Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Giants, Baltimore Orioles, before settling in Detroit with the Detroit Tigers Ernie Harwell. Hard to believe that the words of this author would have been 102 years old in 2020 if those who want to find the entire definition you can find it under the title "The Game for All America" Google the title along with his name you can find Ernie's readers digest condensed version or if Greg can provide the link to the portion of my website you can find the entire thing but I won't lie by saying hearing Ernie's voice recite it won't send you shivers down your back but it'll make you really see the game as it were to be seen.
